Thifted Treasures!

We love making trips to our local thrift store. There's always those few things you keep your eye open for. Everyone has that little "list" tucked into the back of there mind. Mine is...

  • Any milk glass: Bud vases, candy dishes, the lovely little covered dish (as seen on the right) my birthday present from my daughter. She picked it up at one of our favorite vintage stores.
  • Kitchen Ware: Great serving dishes, pretty plates & bowls. Ironstone china (in groups or separate pieces). Odd dishes in bright colors perfect for picnics & camping.
  • Books: Cook books, cute vintage childrens books, books on vintage homemaking and sewing.
  • Sewing notions: (except thread), especially packages of rick rack & bias tape in many odd colors, fabric yardage, pieces of handwork they make beautiful pillows or totes.
  • Misc: Little fake flowers, curling ribbon, great bows. They're perfect for adding to wrapped presents.
